The Week in Photos – August 9, 2021

Last week, we did some camping with friends – and this is one of those things that’s consistently better with friends. I highly recommend it. Especially if your friend has one of those wagons and you accidentally picked a spot at the bottom of a very steep slope. We took a long time to pack up. Leaving at 4pm gave us time to soak our feet in the cold mountain stream after 89 trips up to the car.

Highlights the last week (from top, left to right):
S’mores are a must / The trees had toes! / Cold dip before bed / Morning dip / Wilder shooting a puddle with the slingshot for a photo / The hammock setup / Art under a tarp in the rain / S’mores, day two / Rosetta built our weird beetle a house / When the sun finally came out! / Using the picked green apples from our trees / One of a zillion of Rosetta’s symmetrical shapes I found on my phone / Chatting outside at Dillon Reservoir / Mushroom find! / NOT swimming in the lake… (look at that gross, smoke-filled sky!)
