March 5 – Weekly Photos

Finally the perfect weather for family bike rides! After one great, windy one, and then an entire day outside at Wildlings, we shuffled off to Great Wolf Lodge for a few days indoors. Altho I did make the kiddos walk to dinner across the entire parking lot, a full mile, without considering the incessant wind and our wet hair and the 30º weather. Making memories!

June 26 – Weekly Photos

Our whole week at home, following vacation, we struggled to summon the required energy to make lunches + get out the door. When we did, we liked it. Mostly, though, we didn’t, completing many forgotten home projects + enjoying rearranging + cleaning our daily spaces around here.

I will always love outdoor concerts more, but this AJR event was so exactly what we needed too. The kids’ first official concert that wasn’t bringing a blanket somewhere to ostensibly listen to music near a playground.

May 30 – 2 Weeks’ of Photos

In the span of two weeks, we’ve managed a camping trip with zero camping, three days without power, a Great Wolf overnight and some Covid. Life is weird.

May 14 – Weekly Photos

Last week felt like the longest one in a while. George got promoted, so we started out with a small celebration. More fun than stressful, plus the house was cleaned early!

As spring continues, our focus seems to be shifting into physicality, any activity that requires body movement in some way. Definitely the trampoline is a daily outlet all year, but now it’s been a joy to get outside on bicycles or on foot, and no one seems to mind a lap around the ‘hood. Particularly in the rain!

April 23 – Weekly Photos

The week of science experiments, if ever there was one. From DIY egg dye to rocket launching, we did them ALL.

April 15 – Weekly Photos

We’ve had some personal growth this week as well – that usually feels awkward to me. Rosetta has a friend with a similar temperament, and that makes it hard for them to move on from disappointment when they play. They’re quiet, funny people, and disagreement shifts them into defensive mode.

April 9 – Weekly Photos

We finally got our first 100 hours of outside time! Yeah, it’s April. But I am the only one depressed by this, and I am also the only one who’s got 300+ hours myself. Not that I am comparing… haha.
