April 15 – Weekly Photos

We took Grandma to volunteer at the cat shelter for the first time, showing her around + what to do. We spent a couple of hours brushing, petting + playing. We also spent time attending Math Day at the Rockies stadium with lots of other homeschoolers (fun but hot), admiring our growing garden plants, trying Belgian snacks with the grandparents in our YumBox, + exploring Matthews/Winters without any leaves on the trees.

March 5 – Weekly Photos

Finally the perfect weather for family bike rides! After one great, windy one, and then an entire day outside at Wildlings, we shuffled off to Great Wolf Lodge for a few days indoors. Altho I did make the kiddos walk to dinner across the entire parking lot, a full mile, without considering the incessant wind and our wet hair and the 30º weather. Making memories!

Rosetta managed several projects this week, including making bags to give out to the homeless people we see when we’re driving. She loves making these + has been asking. She and a friend organized this together. We shopped together and split the cost, then the girls packed the bags up with healthy food, snacks and hygiene supplies. Another one, seen below, is tree painting.

November 20 – Weekly Photos

Last week started out great, then turned into a sick week off. Hoping we can sleep it off soon. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

October 23 – Weekly Tracking + Photos

We did some silly things in the wind – shooting archery! fly fishing! making mobiles! – and wished we hadn’t. Even if I’m not quite ready for them, our indoor activities felt less frustrating.
